A23 – Euhydrophyte communities with Nymphaea, Nuphar, Utricularia and Stratiotes:

More or less closed communities of large, rooted aquatic plants with decorative generative organs above the water level. It is a sporadic, rare habitat type (900 ha) in oxbow lakes, in greater canals and extensive fish ponds. Far from the rivers it becomes infrequent. The habitat type is the most common on Tiszai-Alföld (580 ha), especially in Bodrogköz and on Szatmár-Beregi-sík (here almost 400 ha), sporadic on Dunai-Alföld (110 ha), where it mainly occurs on Duna- and Dráva-sík. Uncommon on Kisalföld (10 ha), on Nyugat-Dunántúl (28 ha), in the Dunántúli-középhegység (2 ha) and in the Északi-középhegység (17 ha), as well as in the Dunántúli-dombság (although it covers 150 ha, most of it is in Kis-Balaton).
